Old works and new from Jukka-Pekka Saraste and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic
The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1902 and Konserthuset Stockholm has been its home since 1926. The orchestra endeavours to reinvigorate and expand the traditional symphonic repertoire, organising an annual, internationally renowned composer festival and regularly commissioning and premiering new works. The orchestra participates annually at the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony and the Nobel Prize Concert.
