The 39th Early Music Days will take place between 1–8 July 2023 in Vác, organized by Filharmonia Hungary. The masterclasses, which will be accompanied by concerts with world-famous performers, will provide an excellent opportunity for further training for both undergraduate students and professional musicians from Hungary and abroad.
The festival opening and closing concerts take place at the historic church of the town. The masterclasses and concerts take place indoors.
There are many sights in the town for tourists. Calvary, beach bath, beautiful churches and the baroque main square. The town lies on the banks of the Danube, so a long walk or a picnic on the shore is a great way to relax.
The festival takes place in the town of Vác, Hungary, located in the peaceful countryside near to the capital.
You can easily get to Vác by bus (S70) from Budapest Nyugati railway station.
There is a bus service (200E; 100E) from Liszt Ferenc International Airport to Budapest city centre.
There are many different types of accommodation available in the town. There are guest houses, apartments and hostels.
The town is close to Budapest where you can find 4-5 start hotels as well.
The dress code is more elegant clothing, appropriate for a church concert.
There are restaurants and bars available in the centre of the town, close to the festival venues.
In addition to masterclasses with world-renowned artists, you can also enjoy great concerts at the festival in Vác.
