What type of programmes does the festival offer?
The Davos Festival - young artists in concert invites young talented musicians to Davos for the length of two weeks. The programme contains works of classical and contemporary music of 20 and 21 century, especially chamber music, but also baroque music. The programme is completed by a large variety of side events, which allow free admission. The 2023 Festival is under the motto “Alone” and musically and philosophically explores the different facets of solitude.
What are the venues like?
The main concert venue is Congress Hall Davos. Other concerts take place in churches in and around Davos, the Kirchner Museum Davos, but also in historic venues such as on Thomas Mann’s magic mountain “Schatzalp”. Side events including open singing classes and open stages take place in public venues.

The festival is considered to be the classic music festival of discovery: stars of tomorrow, rare programmes, unique alpine countryside.

Dress code
There is no required dress code. Casual chic for evening concerts is suggested, for anything else come as you are. For Festival walking tour good shoes and rainproof cloths are recommended.
Food & Drink
Bar and smaller catering is operating before and after the concerts. If you wish to have dinner before concert a reservation is suggested. Restaurants usually work until 21:00.
