Andrei Ioniţă proved to be an ideal interpreter of Dvorak's Cello Concerto in a concert that also included a magnificent performance of Martinů's Fourth Symphony.

The latest concert in the LPO's “Changing Faces: Stravinsky’s Journeys” series focussed on storytelling of the symphonic kind. 

A moving first half of Vaughan Williams and Tchaikovsky and a mysterious Shostakovich 15 in the second half. Andreas Brantelid's superlative musicianship wowed.
