The Italian school
Basso continuo in 18th c. Italy and London, playing in ”pieno” (full) and the good taste according to Francesco Geminiani’s treatises
Repertoire: Corelli, Geminiani, Handel, &c.
The masterclass will be held on an original 1785 Longman & Broderip harpsichord.
In addition to individual classes, students of the Basso Continuo masterclass will also have the opportunity to participate in György Vashegyi's chamber music masterclass and the orchestral workshop held by Zsolt Kalló and György Vashegyi.
Chamber music:
We will inform you about the schedule and repertoire of the chamber music masterclass after the application deadline (or until 31 May).
György Vashegyi, the professor of the chamber music masterclass, will select at the end of the last teaching day the 6 chamber music groups that will have the opportunity to perform at the final concert on 8 July.

- 6–7 July 2023, between 10:00 and 14:30
Orchestral rehearsals:
- 4 July 2023, between 18:00 and 19:30
- 5 July 2023, between 18:00 and 19:30
- 6 July 2023, between 18:00 and 19:30
