Vocal music in Italian of 17th and 18th century
In addition to individual classes, students of the singing masterclass will also have the opportunity to participate in György Vashegyi's chamber music masterclass and to take part in the orchestral workshop, prepared from Handel arias from the list below:
Soprano:

Mezzo-Soprano/Alto:

Tenor:
- While Kedron’s Brook (Joshua, HWV 64)
- Like Clouds, stormy Winds them impelling (The Triumph of Time and Truth, HWV 71)
Baritone/Bass:
- Sorge infausta una procella (Orlando, HWV 31)
- But who may abide the Day of his coming – original version for bass (Messiah, HWV 56)

At the end of the second day of lessons, the professors will select the 3 most successfully prepared singers who will get the opportunity to actively participate in the orchestral workshop and perform one of the above arias at the final concert.
Chamber music:
We will inform you about the schedule and repertoire of the chamber music masterclass after the application deadline (or until 31 May).
György Vashegyi, the professor of the chamber music masterclass, will select at the end of the last teaching day the 6 chamber music groups that will have the opportunity to perform at the final concert on 8 July.
