The music of Haydn has become a regular preoccupation for the French pianist, his series of recordings of the piano sonatas an ongoing project. ‘In these immaculate accounts’, BBC Music Magazine said of one volume, the pianist brings ‘ideal clarity to these elegant works … I am astonished each time by the freshness of what I am hearing’.
