Midori made her debut with the Franz Schubert Filharmonia in 2021. She told us at the time that she would be marking the 40th anniversary of her professional debut in the 2022-23 season and would love to share the celebrations with us in Barcelona. We’re privileged to enjoy the friendship and trust of such an extraordinary violinist and to have this opportunity to hear her perform one of the most exciting and majestic concertos ever written – the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto.
